Jim Bisenius<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Jim Bisenius will be visiting Antwerp Local School and Hicksville Exempted Village Schools on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, to offer anti-bullying training for both students and parents. Students in grades 6 through 12 will attend the assembly at Hicksville High School in the morning, and students in grades 3 through 5 will attend the assembly at Antwerp Local School in the afternoon. Parents from both schools are encouraged to attend a parent session that evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Antwerp Local School Auditeria.<\/p>\n

Jim Bisenius has twenty years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist specializing in teaching extremely targeted youth how to handle bullying situations.\u00a0 He has developed response techniques that have been recognized nationally as extremely effective at stopping the dance between bully and victim.\u00a0 Bisenius has taught his methods to over 950 schools nationally, all promoted through word of mouth.\u00a0 He earned his Bachelor\u2019s Degree from Miami University and his Master\u2019s Degree from Ohio State University.<\/p>\n

The parent anti-bullying training will cover exactly how to teach your child or teenager to respond to verbal bullying, physical bullying, social bullying, group manipulation, and cyber-bullying.\u00a0 Bisenius will go into great detail on strategies for students that are excluded, shunned, and socially targeted by sophisticated, \u201cpopular\u201d bullies operating under adult R.A.D.A.R.\u00a0 He will also cover in detail the body-language techniques that students need to learn in order to react with confidence and not make the situation worse.<\/p>\n

Parents will walk away with concrete tools that they can immediately implement and help their son or daughter master in order to eliminate bullying from his or her life.\u00a0 They will also learn how to tell when their adolescent is lying to them.\u00a0 In addition, parents will be able to use all of these techniques in their own life to deal with controlling or intimidating adults.\u00a0 Unfortunately many people who bully do not outgrow it, they simply get older and more subtle.<\/p>\n
