A glimpse into the world of a hoarder will be provided at Lifetree Caf\u00e9 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15th.<\/p>\n
The program, titled \u201cSurrounded by Stuff: Understanding the Hidden World of Hoarding,\u201d features a filmed interview a woman whose hoarding caused her such shame she wouldn\u2019t let a plumber into her home to fix broken pipes.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt got to a point where we didn\u2019t eat at our dining room table for four years because it was piled full of stuff,\u201d the woman says. \u201cPots and pans, clothes I sorted that never made it to the Salvation Army, and even dishes that had been swapped out.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the program, Lifetree Caf\u00e9 participants will have the opportunity to discuss why people often accumulate more stuff than they truly need.<\/p>\n
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Caf\u00e9 is located at the Bachwell Center, 116 N. Washington Street, Van Wert, OH. Please enter on Court Street and park behind the Courthouse.<\/p>\n
