He was a member of the Antwerp Community Church &amp; Payne American Legion Post 297, where he was commander &amp; 1st vice commander. He also was director of the Legion Riders and helped with benefits for &#8220;Miles for Mills&#8221; to fund ALS research. He also was very comfortable hunting &amp; at the end of a fishing rod.<\/p>\n<p>Neal will be sadly missed by his wife, Carol (Peters) whom he married June 4, 2011; children, Brandy Jarrell, Sarah (Charlie) Mast, Denver (Melissa) Miller &amp; Kimberly (Brian) Danner; siblings, Valerie Williams, Patrick (Mary) Burk &amp; Melanie (Jay) Perry; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild &amp; a host of nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>His memorial service is 10 am, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Payne Church of the Nazarene.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials are to Carol Burk.<\/p>\n<p>Fond memories may be shared at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dooleyfuneralhome.com\/\">www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Neal Duane Burk, 64, of New Haven, IN, passed away at home on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
