The beliefs and practices of the Mormon faith will be explored at Lifetree Caf\u00e9 on May 25th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
The program – titled \u201cMormons: Christian? Cult? What do they really believe?\u201d – includes a filmed interview with someone who has left the Mormon church and also someone who has joined it. In addition, a filmed interview with a theology professor will be shown and discussed.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll discuss what Mormons believe and whether the Mormon church is Christian,\u201d said Lifetree representative Craig Cable. \u201cSome accuse the Mormon church of being a cult. We\u2019ll explore whether that\u2019s a fair depiction.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Lifetree event will encourage various views from the community, according to Cable.<\/p>\n
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Caf\u00e9 is located at the Bachwell Center, 116 N. Washington Street, Van Wert, OH. Please enter on Court Street and park behind the Courthouse.<\/p>\n
