The ACC is looking to continue and grow this program for next year. On May 17th, the Antwerp Conservation Club awarded two $250 scholarships to local high school seniors. There were 11 applications received for these two scholarships. The applications came from seniors at Antwerp, Hicksville and Paulding schools. The committee was impressed by the quantity and quality of the applications. It was a tough decision to narrow it down to just two. The recipients of the 2017 ACC Scholarships are: Emily Butzin graduated from Antwerp Local Schools. She is enrolled at the University of Saint Francis this fall and pursuing a degree in nursing. Ethan Friend graduated from Hicksville Exempted Village Schools. He is enrolled at the Ohio State University and pursuing a degree in Entomology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
