Duane R Gordon,<\/b> 88, died May 19, 2017 at Kingston at Dupont in Ft Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n
Duane was a graduate of Antwerp High School and a lifelong farmer. He served the United States as a sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Antwerp VFW Post 5087. On October 26, 1957 Duane was united in marriage to Charlene Garman. She preceded him in death in 2004.<\/p>\n
Duane was born on July 29, 1928 the son of the late John and Winifred (Zuber) Gordon. Surviving him are a daughter Joan (Daryl) Minter; granddaughter Brandy (Brian) Nusbaum; grand son-in-law Ben Rager; great grandchildren Makayla and Nathan Sullivan, Addison Nusbaum, and Aubree and Kaitlyn Rager; a sister Vivian Baker. Preceding him in death are a granddaughter Kelly Rager and a brother Herman Gordon.<\/p>\n
Visitation for Duane will be Tuesday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00. The funeral will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 10:00 with one hour of visitation prior.\u00a0 Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Antwerp VFW Post.<\/p>\n
