West,<\/strong> 73, of Antwerp passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare, Bryan.<\/p>\n<p>Linda was born in Simpson, West Virginia \u00a0on April 15, 1944 a daughter of the late Edward Kemper &amp; Georgia (Lockhart) Powell.<\/p>\n<p>She was a valued employee at General Tire for over 25 years and Chief Supermarket for 10 years. Shopping was always a pleasure for Linda but her children is who she loved the most.<\/p>\n<p>Linda\u00a0will be sadly missed by her son, John Scouten of Bryan; sisters, Shirley Jenkins of Payne &amp; Donna Sadler of Atwater and 3 grandchildren, Adam, Brice &amp; Trey Scouten.<\/p>\n<p>She was also preceded in death by her son, Mark Scouten; brothers, Doug, Carl &amp; Charles Powell and her husband, Lewis, whom she married July 5, 1980.<\/p>\n<p>She will be laid to rest privately at Maumee Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Linda L.
