The honor was provided based on Latta\u2019s voting record supporting manufacturing from the past Congress. The event was held at Cooper Tire &amp; Rubber Company, one of the largest manufacturers in Latta\u2019s district. \u201cI\u2019m honored to receive this award from the National Association of Manufacturers because it confirms the commitment I\u2019ve made to support policies that strengthen our manufacturing sector,\u201d said Latta. \u201cIn my district, with more than 60,000 people working in the manufacturing field, the success of our regional economy relies on manufacturers that can innovate, grow, and create jobs. I\u2019m proud to stand with the hardworking men and women making the products that keep America running.\u201d \u201cManufacturers in Ohio and across the country are changing lives for the better\u2014through the jobs we create and the products we make. Manufacturing is about improving the human condition, one innovation at a time,\u201d said NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons. \u201cRep.
