Lyvers,<\/strong> 78, of Payne passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.<\/p>\n<p>Joe was born in Washington County, KY \u00a0on July 14, 1938 the oldest son of the late Joseph &amp; Marcella (Reddicks) Lyvers.<\/p>\n<p>He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church &amp; Free Masons Wayne Lodge #25. Joe\u00a0owned a Gulf Oil Station, worked at International Harvester &amp; Payne Equity Exchange. He worked hard at everything he did, even earning a private pilot&#8217;s license. He loved the outdoors, fishing, golf and most of all being a loving husband, father &amp; grandfather.<\/p>\n<p>He will be sadly missed by his wife, Beth Ann (McIntosh) whom he married Sept 28, 1968; children, Renee (Eric) Baker of Noblesville, IN &amp; Allen (Tonya) Lyvers of Van Wert; siblings, \u00a0Russell (Polly) of Bardstown, KY &amp; grandchildren, Zach &amp; Jacob Lyvers, Shayna Keipper &amp; Emily Baker.<\/p>\n<p>He is also preceded in death by his son, Joseph &amp; siblings, Mary Ivy Bartley, Carol Adkins, Freda Rowe &amp; Wanda Price.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral Mass is Tuesday, 10 am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W. Townline, Payne.<\/p>\n<p>Viewing is Monday, 4 &#8211; 7:30 pm with a vigil service at 7:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne, where viewing is also Tuesday, 9 &#8211; 9:30 am.<\/p>\n<p>He will be laid to rest in Blue Creek Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials are to Leukemia &amp; Lymphoma Society.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences &amp; fond memories may be shared at www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joseph D.
