All of the young ladies have had a great time playing as a team for their favorite school and now it\u2019s time to say, \u201cgoodbye\u201d for the last home game of the season. These girls have some of the best attitudes around when you see they gave balloons to the seniors of their competitors as a good-will gesture.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16731\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16731\" style=\"width: 401px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-16731\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/PaulvsDefGBFaithVogel.jpg?resize=401%2C483\" alt=\"\" width=\"401\" height=\"483\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16731\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Defiance\u2019s Natalie Wichman reaches out to block the pass from Paulding Senior Faith Vogel. More pictures at westbendnews.net<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Following the tearful senior night, the girls hit the court with the fast action team from Defiance. The Lady Bulldogs quickly got on the board with a solid 14 points in the first period. After watching the guest team wrack up points the Paulding girls started to score and ended up with 7. Senior guard Lucas Karissa scored the only 2 3-point field goals for the Lady Panthers in this game.<\/p>\n<p>The second period was nearly the same as Defiance continued to run around Paulding scoring 8-17 and making the halftime score 15-31. The top scorer for Paulding Brianna Townley, hitting 5-2point field goals.<\/p>\n<p>The 2nd half continued in the same fashion and Paulding added a few more points. The Lady Panthers scored 11 points in the 3rd quarter and the Bulldogs added 18. The game was pretty much over by the fourth period but it was more competitive as Paulding girls increased the defense and holding the guests to only 11 and Paulding scored 10 for the last. More pictures at westbendnews.net<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Paulding scorers of the game:<\/p>\n<p>K Hale 2; K Lucas 6; A Manz 2; Sk McCullough 2; Sy McCullough 4; D Pessefall 4; B Townley 11; F Vogel 5<\/p>\n<p>Paulding will travel to Wapakoneta to take on Patrick henry in the first game of sectionals on Wednesday, February 22 at 6:15.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the seniors gave their history and future at senior and the West Bend News is glad to share it here:<\/p>\n<p>#15 \u2013 Allison Arend (\u201cAA\u201d) daughter of Dana and Caroline Arend.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in basketball, soccer and member of the National Honor Society. Her favorite memory was attending team camp each summer with her best friends. She plans to attend the University of Dayton and major in physical therapy.<\/p>\n<p>#43 \u2013 Skyler McCullough (\u201cSkyMac\u201d) daughter of Jim and Julie McCullough.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in 4 years of basketball, 3 years of volleyball, has done baseball stats, a member of the National Honor Society and student council and also a student officer. Her favorite memories are when she was able to sub for her senior sister when she sat varsity as a freshman and being getting to be a captain this year with 2 of her best friends. She plans to attend the University of Toledo and become an accountant.<\/p>\n<p>#12 \u2013 Molly Meeker (\u201cDouble M\u201d) daughter of Troy and Liz Meeker.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in cheerleading, track and a member of the National Honor Society and drama department. Her favorite memory is actually scoring and making an \u201cand one\u201d. She plans to attend Ohio State University and major in biochemistry.<\/p>\n<p>#33 \u2013 Brooke Weidenhamer (\u201cB Dub\u2019s\u201d) daughter of Todd and Regina Weidenhamer.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in soccer, basketball, poultry judging, a member of the National Honor Society, FFA and science fair. Her favorite memory is the back of the bus. She plans to attend the University of Findlay and major in animal science\/pre-vet then attend Ohio State University to obtain a doctorate in veterinary medicine.<\/p>\n<p>#10 \u2013 Karissa Lucas (\u201cK-Rock\u201d) daughter of Kenny and Stephanie Thomas and Emmanuel Lucas.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in soccer, basketball, softball and member of FFA. Her favorite memory is the back of the bus. She plans to attend the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima and major in sports management.<\/p>\n<p>#11 \u2013 Faith Vogel (\u201cEver Faithful\u201d) daughter of Bob and Dori Vogel.<\/p>\n<p>While attending Paulding High School she\u2019s participated in basketball, volleyball, a member of the National Honor Society, drama and FFA and has done baseball stats. Her favorite memory is Skyler lobbing her a pass but accidentally scoring instead.
