Antwerp hosted their biggest event of the school year at the Riverside Park on Saturday, October 8. The Annual Cross Country Invite took place on a cool, breezy Saturday morning. This day was set with the seniors being recognized for all their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n

Following senior recognition was the elementary race. The high school boys started the morning with the following rankings: Holgate 29, Fairview 35, Antwerp 107, Hicksville 117, Edgerton 131, Parkway 142, Paulding 157, Jones Lead Academy, Ottoville, Stryker, Wayne Trace<\/p>\n

The top 25 varsity girls: Emma Willett – Holgate, Gabbi Willett – Holgate, Makayla Sullivan – Hicksville, Katie Crites – Fairview, Aubrey Breininger – Fairview, Arena Willett Holgate, Chyanne Retcher – Fairview, Cameron Slee – Holgate, Mercedes Wagner – Fairview, Gracie Laukhuf – Wayne Trace, Katelyn Smith – Fairview, Emily Butzin – Antwerp, McKenna Byrne – Ottoville, Grace Zachrich – Holgate, Rachel Barrett – Parkway, Taylor Freytag – Holgate, Bailey Bowen – Edgerton, Brooke Hardy – Fairview, Rebecca Meyer – Holgate, Paige Speelman – Stryker, Lindsey kelly – Holgate, Lauren Okuley – Holgate, Julia Steiner – Antwerp, Angela Betz – Hicksville, Christine Clapsaddle – Paulding.<\/p>\n

The varsity boys followed the girls and the top team was Parkway, followed by Fairview, Paulding, Stryker, Edgerton, Antwerp, Antwerp, Holgate, Hicksville, Ottoville, Jones Lead Academy.<\/p>\n

The top boys runners started with Brendon Siefker – Ottoville, Austin Johnson – Fairview, Shamar Midgett – Fairview, Michael Myers – Hicksville, Matt Gaerke – Parkway, Simeon Shepherd – Paulding, Lane Kolb – Fairview, Benjamin Schlemmer – Parkway, Emanuel Villanueva – Stryker, Kyle Rather – Parkway, Izayah Ferguson – Stryker, Reid Etzcorn – Parkway, Carson Shull – Paulding, Aaron Bruns – Parkway, Caleb Rollins – Parkway, Brandon Laney – Antwerp, Tyson Curry – Edgerson, Coby Jones – Edgerton, Garrett Carpenter – Fairview, Miciah Ankney – Fairview, Cody Sonnenberg – Holgate, Bailey Manz – Paulding, Marcus Miller – Paulding, Jaxon Hart – Fairview, Austin Harvey – Edgerton.<\/p>\n

After the varsity the boys and girls junior high meets took place. By noon everything was cleaned up and the park was recognizable once again.<\/p>\n
