Antwerp, OH<\/p>\n

\"Dooley\"Violet June Hughes, 82, of Antwerp, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at Vancrest of Antwerp.<\/p>\n

Violet was born in Hicksville, Ohio on April 26, 1934, a daughter of the late Ella (Gustin) and Vernon Stevenson.<\/p>\n

She worked at Dallas\/Fort Worth Bank, U.S. Rubber, Woodburn Diamond Die & \u00a0Patton Electric. She enjoyed bowling, card club, watching her children & grandchildren at sporting events, playing bingo at Vancrest and her time as member of the Antwerp American Legion Post Auxiliary.<\/p>\n

Violet will be sadly missed by her children, Lana (Dennis) Adams of Paulding, Kevin (Cathy) of Kendallville, IN, Kenneth of Fort Wayne & Kyle (Penny) of Antwerp; siblings, Mary Ann Hawkins of Henryville, IN & Peggy Koch of Statesville, NC; 8 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil, whom she married Nov. 1, 1958 and \u00a0siblings, Carl, Richard & John Stevenson.<\/p>\n

Viewing is Thursday, 5 to 8 pm at Dooley Funral Home, Antwerp.<\/p>\n

Her funeral service is Friday, 11 am at First Presbyterian Church of Antwerp with viewing one hour prior.<\/p>\n

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.<\/p>\n

Memorials to Vancrest of Antwerp Activity Fund or the First Presbyterian Church.<\/p>\n
