Attempted Robbery at the Charloe Store<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Paulding, Ohio\u2014At approximately 9:00 p.m. this evening, deputies responded to a robbery in progress at the Charloe Store Gas Station located at 20144 Road 138 in Brown Township. There was only one suspect that entered the store, and no other occupants were observed in the get-a-way car.<\/p>\n

A physical description of the suspect is; white male approximately 5\u20194\u201d, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown work boots. The suspect had on a black ball hat with a light colored bill and a black bandana over his face. The male fled west bound on Road 138 in what appeared to be a black Ford Focus.<\/p>\n

There were two employees inside the store at the time of the robbery and no customers. The male demanded all the money, and never brandished a weapon. As the clerks hesitated to respond to the demand, the suspect turned and fled. The suspect did not get away with anything or physically assault the employees.<\/p>\n
