Absentee ballots must be postmarked today or hand-delivered to the board of elections before the polls close tomorrow<\/em><\/p>\n

COLUMBUS\u00a0\u2013 On the eve of the 2016 Presidential Primary Election in Ohio, Secretary of State Jon Husted reminds registered voters there is still time to cast your vote or return your completed absentee ballot to your county board of elections.<\/p>\n

By the close of the polls on March 15th, Ohio voters will have had nearly four weeks to cast their ballots during the early voting period that began on February 17th. Early voting in Ohio includes 211 hours for early in-person voting and 28 days for a voter to cast their ballot from the comfort of his or her own home, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p>\n

The polls will be open on Election Day for 13 hours.<\/p>\n

Absentee Voters<\/strong><\/p>\n

Returned absentee ballots must be postmarked by\u00a0today\u00a0and arrive at your board of elections within 10 days of the election in order to be counted. Ohio is one of only 12 states to allow late-arriving ballots to be counted.<\/p>\n

If you have not mailed your ballot, the Secretary of State\u2019s Office recommends you make plans to return it in-person to your county board of elections before the polls close at 7:30pm tomorrow. A voted ballot may also be returned by a family member.<\/p>\n

Voters can track their absentee ballot online by going to\u00a0www.MyOhioVote.com\/VoterToolkit.<\/p>\n

Voting on Election Day:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Polls will be open throughout the state tomorrow from 6:30am until 7:30pm. Voters can find their polling location, check their registration and view a sample ballot by going to\u00a0www.MyOhioVote.com\/VoterToolkit.<\/p>\n

Voters planning to cast their ballot in-person on Election Day should remember to bring proper identification. A list of acceptable forms of I.D. can be found on the Secretary of State\u2019s website\u00a0here.<\/p>\n

Voter Toolkit<\/strong><\/p>\n

The online Voter Toolkit is a one-stop location for all necessary voting information. Ohio voters can visit\u00a0MyOhioVote.com\/VoterToolkit\u00a0to check their voter registration status, find their polling location, view their sample ballot and track their mailed absentee ballot.<\/p>\n

Get Election Updates and Ohio\u2019s Virtual Voting Sticker\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

All voters are encouraged to connect with \u201cOhioSOSHusted\u201d on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to get election information and updates throughout the year. \u00a0Here they can also get a virtual voting sticker badge to let their friends and followers know they\u2019ve participated in the General Election. Facebook users simply need to \u201clike\u201d\u00a0Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted\u2019s\u00a0official Facebook page to \u201cwear\u201d a virtual sticker on their wall.
