<\/a>Melissa S. Pierce,<\/strong> 57, passed away on January 3, 2016 at Defiance Area Inpatient \u00a0Hospice Center in Defiance Ohio.\u00a0 She was born on July 3, 1958 in Elwood, Indiana to Benedict and Myrna (DeLong) Fettig.\u00a0 She married Daniel L. Pierce on June 17, 2000.\u00a0 Melissa was a Photographic\u00a0 Supervisor for Olan Mills.\u00a0 Survivors include her husband Daniel of Antwerp, a daughter Savanna Fettig of Antwerp; a son Tim Pierce of Ohio; her mother Myrna Fettig of Auburn; two sisters Maureen Briones of South Bend and Laura Terlosky of Butler; four brothers Mark Fettig of Auburn, Matthew Fettig of Kokomo, Keith Fettig of Sacremento CA, and Jon Fettig of Fort Wayne.\u00a0 She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter Joslynn Fettig.\u00a0 Celebration of Life Service will be held at Riverside Christian Church, Antwerp Ohio on January 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM with a gathering of friends and family beginning at noon, Pastor Max Begley officiating.\u00a0 Memorials to to Defiance Area Inpatient \u00a0Hospice Center.
