The Pirates of Continental high school ventured west to compete in the Palace of the Wayne Trace Raiders on Tuesday, December 22nd. The Raiders started the game strong leading in the first quarter 17-10. The Pirates battled back in the 2nd half topping 9 points by the half time buzzer while Wayne Trace only ticked off 8. That was all she wrote for any chance of a Pirate upset though as the Raiders came out of the half time gate adding 18 in the 3rd quarter and an additional 12 by the end of the game. Final score racked up another win for the Raider record: 55-39.<\/p>\n
