{"id":13054,"date":"2015-12-28T15:50:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-28T20:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/?p=13054"},"modified":"2015-12-28T15:50:00","modified_gmt":"2015-12-28T20:50:00","slug":"james-stanley-bridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/james-stanley-bridge\/","title":{"rendered":"James Stanley Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Bridge-Jim-web.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13055\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13055\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Bridge-Jim-web.jpg?resize=159%2C181\" alt=\"Bridge, Jim web\" width=\"159\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a>James Stanley Bridge, 80,<\/strong>\u00a0of Woodburn, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.\u00a0 Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Harley and Marie (Luecke) Bridge.\u00a0 He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn.\u00a0 He was the previous owner of Bridge Sprayer and Trailer Sales, where he continued to work in sales and management after his retirement.\u00a0 He was a member of Woodburn Community Historical Society, Woodburn Chamber of Commerce, Woodburn Lions Club, Beta Sigma PSI Lutheran Fraternity, and he and his wife were a presenting couple for Lutheran Marriage Encounter from 1983 to 1999.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by wife of 60 years, Beverly (Sievers) Bridge; children, Melody (Dennis) Schlie of Spencerville, Tamara (Dean) Koontz of Fort Wayne, and Randy (Carolyn) Bridge and Mary Ann Unsicker both of Woodburn; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.\u00a0 He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Todd Unsicker in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn with calling one hour prior.\u00a0 Pastor Timothy Edwards officiating.\u00a0 Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday at the church.\u00a0 Burial in the church cemetery.\u00a0 Preferred memorial are to Woodburn Christian Children\u2019s Home or Woodburn Lutheran School.\u00a0 Arrangements by E.
