Earl worked at Grizzly Manufacturing and Sims and was a member of Paulding VFW Post 587 He loved to hunt, fish &amp; play cards with his buddies. He enjoyed horses and his gun collection, but his greatest love &amp; achievement was his family.<\/p>\n<p>On April 2, 1955 Earl married Betty Baker.<\/p>\n<p>He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty; children, Cheryl (Marshall) Davis of Paulding, Richard (Michelle) of New Carlisle &amp; Eric (Jodi) of Paulding; sister, Sandy (Kenny) Cox of Payne; 8 grandchildren &amp; 7 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Ellen; grandson, Craig Copsey &amp; sister, Barnetta.<\/p>\n<p>Viewing is Thursday, 4 &#8211; 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500 Payne.<\/p>\n<p>His funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne \u00a0at 11 am on Friday, October 23rd, with viewing one horu prior.<\/p>\n<p>He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, with military honors.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials to Community Health Prof. Hospice.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences and fond memories may be shared at www.dooleyfuneralhome.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earl William Burgoon, 84, of Haviland, \u00a0passed away at home on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
