{"id":12342,"date":"2015-09-23T13:20:54","date_gmt":"2015-09-23T17:20:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/?p=12342"},"modified":"2015-10-14T13:23:49","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T17:23:49","slug":"paulding-county-commissioners-meeting-minutes-92315","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/paulding-county-commissioners-meeting-minutes-92315\/","title":{"rendered":"Paulding County Commissioners Meeting Minutes 9\/23\/15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This 23rd day of September, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners met in regular session with the following members present:<\/p>\n<p>Roy Klopfenstein,\u00a0 Tony Zartman, Mark Holtsberry, and Nola Ginter, Clerk<\/p>\n<p>ALLOWANCE OF CLAIMS:<\/p>\n<p>Warrants documented as 219327 through 219373 for County Bills were approved and certified to the County Auditor for payment.<\/p>\n<p>EXECUTIVE SESSION:<\/p>\n<p>A motion was made by Mr. Tony Zartman to go into executive session at 8:07 a.m. with the Paulding County Prosecutor and the Paulding County Assistant Prosecutor to discuss legal matters. The motion was seconded by Mr. Mark Holtsberry. All members voting yea.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0 8:24 a.m. all members present agreed to adjourn the executive session and go into regular session.<\/p>\n<p>IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2015 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 046):<\/p>\n<p>The Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to amend the 2015 Annual Appropriation by appropriating the following in the Felony Delinquent Care Fund (Fund 046):<\/p>\n<p>046-001-00008\/Felony Delinquent Care\/Travel<\/p>\n<p>AMOUNT: $500.00<\/p>\n<p>Meeting Notes of Appointments:<\/p>\n<p>Brion Hanenkratt and Brandon Manz, Sheriff\u2019s Office \u2013 Mr. Hanenkratt introduced Mr. Manz as a newly hired deputy. Mr. Manz\u00a0 returns to Paulding County after having worked in law enforcement for the railroad. He announced a training exercise will take place at the Paulding County Fairgrounds tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Paulding, Antwerp, and Payne police forces were invited to participate in training. Mr. Manz hopes to schedule monthly training for law enforcement personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Claudia Fickel, County Auditor \u2013 Ms. Fickel met briefly with the Commissioners. They discussed ditch fees. Ms. Fickel presented the warrant register for the Commissioners\u2019 signatures. She also informed the Commissioners that Don Stemen (Weights and Measures) will be returning to work (after an injury) for light duty.<\/p>\n<p>Beth Hanson, American Tower \u2013 The Commissioners conducted a teleconference with Mr. Hanson to discuss the lease agreement they have for the tower at the fairgrounds. Ms. Hanson explained the options for leasing offered by American Tower.<\/p>\n<p>Jared Renollet, PC Dog Warden \u2013 Mr. Renollet reminded the Commissioners he will be attending a \u201cChemical Capture\u2019 training in Columbus on October 8 &amp; 9. He noted things are going well at the Dog Kennel.
