{"id":11736,"date":"2015-07-27T10:17:30","date_gmt":"2015-07-27T14:17:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/?p=11736"},"modified":"2015-07-27T10:17:30","modified_gmt":"2015-07-27T14:17:30","slug":"james-jim-a-roberts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.westbendnews.net\/autonews\/james-jim-a-roberts\/","title":{"rendered":"James (Jim) A Roberts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Antwerp, OH<\/p>\n<p><strong>James (Jim) A Roberts<\/strong>, 86, of Antwerp passed away peacefully\u00a0 Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Paulding County Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Payne, on November 1, 1928, he was a son of\u00a0 Rosa (Boyer) and Fredrick\u00a0 Roberts.<\/p>\n<p>Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tona (Marquis); 4 sisters &amp; 3 brothers.<\/p>\n<p>Jim is survived by a sister, Mary Gower of Hicksville; 5 children, Tom of Antwerp, Martha (Tom) Dangler of Bryan, Janet (Dennis) Happel of Huntertown, IN, Tim (Patty) of Churubusco, IN &amp; Laura (Jeff) Weaver of Payne; 6 grandchildren &amp; 5 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he retired from BF Goodrich in 1990.
