Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Born on July 22, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana, Mike was the son of Edmund and Jane Krakowski.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Mike graduated from Woodland High School with the class of 1977.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">On March 15, 2001, he was united in marriage with Jill Bailey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Mike was employed by the U.S. Postal service where he was a rural carrier in the Ft. Wayne area for 17 years. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, coached high school wrestling at Woodland and was a little league coach in Hicksville.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">He is survived by his wife Jill; stepson Brad (Crystal) Smith of Tipp City, Ohio; stepdaughter Nicki Smith (Robert III) Miller of Hicksville; step grandsons, Justin and Jacob Miller; his parents Edmund and Jane; and a brother Robert Krakowski.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">He was preceded in death by his grandparents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Funeral services for Mike will be Tuesday at 11:00 at Smith &amp; Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Memorials may be made to the Hicksville Aces Football Program.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Online condolences may be shared at <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithbrownfuneralhome.com\/\">www.smithbrownfuneralhome.com<\/a><\/u><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hicksville, Ohio Michael Krakowski, 55, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft.
