Central Ave. in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>You can drive up to the Central Street doors of the First United Methodist Church and we will come to your car and get your donated bags of shoes.\u00a0 Rain or shine we will be holding the shoe drop off.\u00a0 You won\u2019t need to leave the comfort of your car.<\/p>\n<p>We are partnering with Funds2Orgs to raise money for our summer mission trip and helping other people around the world while benefiting our community as well.\u00a0 By donating your gently worn, used shoes to the First Church Youth Group, your shoes are given a second chance to make a difference. All donated shoes will be redistributed to microenterprise partners through Funds2Orgs and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start, maintain, and grow a unique business opportunity to feed, clothe, and house their families.\u00a0\u00a0 In the US alone, approximately 630 million pairs of shoes are thrown away per year.
