\"Jerry<\/a>This coming Tuesday, March 24th, from 12:00-6:00 p.m., Jerry Zielke, director of the Paulding County Economic Development is excited to realize one of his goals for the development of Paulding County \u2013 offering a place to bring together educators, employers and potential employees for the betterment of Paulding County.
\n\u201cThe real focus is building a better and stronger work force in the county,\u201d commented Jerry. \u201cWe want employers to see that we have a well-trained, willing workforce that is ready to go. In order to do this, we all have to work together.\u201d
\nEmployers that are scheduled to be on hand on the 24th include Baughman Tile Company, Cooper Farms, Haviland Drainage Products, Haviland Plastic Products, Herbert E. Orr Company, McDonalds-Paulding, Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op, Taylor Made Glass Systems, and the US Army & Marines Recruiting Center.
\nThe day will also be filled with education and training and scholarship presentations.
\nFrom 12:00 Noon \u2013 12:30 p.m., Dathy Keller, DBA, director at Small Business Development Cernter at Rhodes State-Lima and Charlie Chamber, CPA, CMA, CGMA, director at Manurfacturing Technology Small Business Development Center-Toledo will present \u201cSmall Business Assistance Programs.\u201d
\n12:30\u20131:30 p.m. \u2013 The International Trade Assistance Center will continue the discussion on Small Business Assistance Programs.
\n1:00-1:30 p.m. \u2013 Vantage Career Center-Van Wert will be available to talk about Adult Educational Opportunities at Vantage.
\n1:30-2:00 p.m. \u2013 Innovative Strategic Training Achieving Results-iStar-NWSCC will present about the Innovative Strategic Training Achieving Results Programs
\n2:00-2:30 p.m. \u2013 Kristine Gross of University of Northwestern Ohio-Lima will present \u201cSuccessful resume writing and interviewing
\n2:30-3:00 p.m. \u2013 Amy McMaster, L.S.W., coordinator, and Amy Thomas, education coordinator of Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission-Defiance will be talking about Individual Development Services
\n3:00-3:30 p.m. \u2013 Michael Jacobs with Admissions at Northwest State Community College-Archbold will talk about the educational opportunities at Northwest State Community College
