\"Lucas,<\/a>LATTY:<\/p>\n

Warren Harding Lucas, age 94, died Wednesday, evening March 11 in his home surrounded with love by his family.<\/p>\n

He was born in 1920 in Paulding, Ohio, the only child of Pete and Florence (Block) Lucas. On September 6, 1952 he married Olga Gonzales, who survives, and although divorced have remained the best of friends. He was a US Army veteran with the rank of Corporal serving during WWII. In 1980 he retired after 25 years from GM Powertrain in Defiance, Ohio where he was an iron pourer. He was a member of UAW #211. Warren was raised Baptist.<\/p>\n

Warren is survived by his daughters, Juanita Martinez, Joanna (Carlos) Martinez, Kathy (Wesley) Goings, Mary Goings all of Paulding, and Elena (Michael) Davis of Springfield, MO; grandchildren: Sophia Mobley, Emmanuel J. Lucas (more of a son than grandson), Guadalupe Martinez, Olga Gomez, Brian Godoy, Darnell Goings, Alvina Dial, Jensa Goings, Lawrence Goings Jr., Kierra Nabors, Tammara Perry, O.J. Goings and many, many great-grandchildren, caring family and friends.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his parents, three uncles and two grandchildren: Georgina Graves and Warren-Aric Goings.<\/p>\n

Funeral services was conducted 11 AM Tuesday, March 17 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial followed in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding.<\/p>\n

Visitation was 4 \u2013 8 PM Monday, March 16 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There was also visitation on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Community Health Professionals & Hospice.<\/p>\n
