The doors open at 9am with the business meeting beginning promptly at 10am.<\/p>\n<p>Members will be treated to a free lunch and will hear an update on the state of the Cooperative from CEO\/General Manager George Carter and President of the Board of Trustees, Dr. John Saxton.<\/p>\n<p>All those members in attendance will receive a $10 bill credit (one per household). More than 600 members are expected to attend the 79th the annual meeting of the member-owned cooperative. According to CEO George Carter, \u201cThe annual meeting makes us unique in the electric utility industry. No other utility has member-owners. The annual meeting highlights that ownership. It also gives our members a chance to meet their CEO and board members as well as many employees that they talk to on a regular basis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Members of Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative are also encouraged to bring their family members. For those members unable to attend, PPEC\u00a0 will have a live feed of the event. It will be posted to www.PPEC.coop. \u201cWe are very excited to host over 600 of our member-owners on Saturday, March 21st. This is one of the largest events held in Paulding County and we hold it in our own facility; which makes it even more special,\u201d Carter added.<\/p>\n<p>Paulding-Putnam Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member-owned, member-controlled nonprofit electric distribution utility.
