After a couple of lead changes and a tie in the second quarter, Woodlan took the lead for good and led 29-23 by halftime. The Warriors kept building on their advantage in the second half, outscoring Adams Central 46-23 in the final 16 minutes and the Warriors advanced to the sectional semi-final against Churubusco. The Warriors may have bested Churubusco in football sectionals back in October, but now it was time for the Eagles to have their way with the home team.<\/p>\n<p>The game began with \u2018busco taking the early lead, doubling the score of the Warriors. Woodlan still was able to get points on the board and in the second quarter they were much more successful. Both teams added 17. Austin Fancher, Jeffrey Jones and Aaron Hahn were scoring but not at the pace of the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>Third quarter was the clincher for the evening when Churubusco was able to add 31 points on the score board.
