Woodlan Falls to Undefeated Bluffton, 42–7

BLUFFTON — The Woodlan Warriors faced a tough challenge on Friday night, September 12th, falling 42–7 to a dominant Bluffton Tigers squad in a game where the Tigers outscored the Warriors in every quarter. The loss marks the fourth straight defeat for Woodlan in this series.
Bluffton quarterback Axton Beste was nearly unstoppable, putting together another standout performance. Beste completed 86.7% of his passes for 203 yards and four touchdowns, while also adding 46 rushing yards and a score on the ground. He has now thrown for at least three touchdowns in every game this season.
Treyton Bustos was a key target for Beste, hauling in 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns to help power the Tigers’ offense.
With the loss, Woodlan falls to 1–3 on the season, while Bluffton remains perfect at 4–0, continuing to roll through their early schedule with dominant play on both sides of the ball.
