WHAT DOES TTYL, LOL, HAGN MEAN?

Penny for your Thoughts by: Nancy Whitaker

Computers, cell phones, texting, Facebook and all things “techie” has became the norm for us. If you aren’t educated a bit on these electronic devices, it may be hard to get used to them. I have seen my grands and great-grands all knowing how to play games and do things on a cell phone at very young age ages. In fact I can usually ask them for help if I get stuck with a problem.

I love my cell phone and even sleep with it in case of an emergency. I am not real good with Siri and also getting a good selfie is hard to do especially taking one that makes me look like I am 21 – ROFLOL.

Sometimes it is confusing to get the art of communicating and texting someone on your phone keypad or laptop.

In this technical world of texting, someone may use a lot of abbreviations you don’t know what they mean.

They might text you HRU? That one isn’t too hard, but here are some that are used a lot, and some I know and some I don’t know.

I will close Pennies with these words: J4F I wrote this message: IMHO, I want you to LMK PLS. Did I give you any BN? Did I write TMI? Do you have a BF OR GF? BTW,    TTYL.
