United Way of Defiance County Receives $5,000 Grant for Defiance Rides Program

United Way of Defiance County has received a $5,000 grant through the Defiance Area Foundation’s fall 2025 grant cycle. The funding was awarded from the DAF Community Fund and will support the new Defiance Rides initiative.

Defiance Rides is designed to provide transportation for Defiance County residents who lack access to reliable transportation, including rides to medical and legal appointments as well as transportation to and from employment.
