I just received some updates for the upcoming 27th Rumble in Fort Wayne, December 19th and 20th. Each day the Rumble will feature full programs of racing competition for Midgets, non-winged and winged 600cc Midgets, 6 classes of Quarter Midgets, Mini Wedges and multiple classes of Go-Karts. Top National and Regional drivers will be coming in from all over the country to race on the 1/7 mile concrete flat oval track in the Coliseums Expo Center. The best way to describe it is to take the excitement of outdoor racing and bring it inside.

On both days all classes will run heat races and features. On the 20th the Midget class will have a 100 lap feature to add to this year’s event.

The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series released their 2026 schedule. They will have 58 events, 26 different tracks in 15 states. The season starts February 18, 2026, at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City FL for the Winter Nationals and will end October 17th at West Virgina Motor Speedway for the 46th Annual World Dirt Track Championship. The series will make stops in Ohio at Atomic Speedway, Muskingum County Speedway, and Eldora. Several Indiana tracks will host events. Devin Moran is the defending series champion.

The All Star Circuit of Champions winged 410 Sprint Car Series released their 2026 schedule. They will have 27 race dates, at 18 different tracks in 5 states. The series starts Friday, April 10th at Attica Raceway Park and will end Saturday, October 3rd at Waynesfield Raceway Park.

Ohio Speed Week that’s run by the All Star Circuit of Champions, will start Sunday, June 12th and end Saturday June 20th. This year tracks hosting Speedway Events will be Millstream, Wayne County Speedway, Eldora, Waynesfield, Fremont, and Atomic. Wednesday, June 17th will be held as a rain date.

At the All Stars awards banquet last Saturday, it was announced that there will be more than $1,000,000.00 in A-main prize money during the 2026 season! This was made possible by returning and new marketing partners along with tracks that host the series. Returning Series Champion, Cap Henry, announced last week on the Hammer Down Racing Report, he will be back in 2026 to defend his title.

Until next week, keep your wheels down. Ron out!
