Indiana Sprint week just finished up and they were able to get all the races in. Kokomo was rained out and used a make up day, so the drivers could race the famous bullring. Kevin Thomas Jr. finished the week with the most points to win the 2025 Championship for the USAC Sprints. He secured the championship title by winning the final race of the week at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana. This victory also marked his third career Indiana Sprint Week championship. Logan Seavey finished second in the overall standings and earned $10,000 for his weeklong efforts. During the week nobody passed more cars than Seavey. He was a man on a mission. In 8 races, he advanced 52 positions and each one counted. He wound up as the #ISW25 Parallax Group Passing Master in a tight race that went right down to the wire!

The 500 Sprint Car Tour that race on asphalt with no wings, had a busy weekend in Michigan. Tyler Roahrig won on Friday night at Kalamazoo Speedway and on Saturday night he was in victory lane at the half mile in Owosso.  Roahrig has won the last 3 features on the tour and is leading in season points over Dakoda Armstrong, Bobby Santos, and Kody Swanson. This weekend the tour goes to southern Indiana and Salem Speedway.

The Extreme Outlaw USAC Midgets raced at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park, MO. On Friday, “The Night Before” the Iron Man 55 was won by Karter Sarff, and close behind was Jacob Denney and Cannon McIntosh. With the feature win, Sarff became the second all-time winningest driver in history of the series with his ninth Feature triumph. Saturday for the Iron Man 55 Race, Kameron Key found victory lane and $7,500.00. On the podium with the winner was Corbin Rueschenberg and Jacob Denney.

In Wauseon, Devin Shiels picked up his 3rd Oakshade Raceway Late Model feature win of the season. Steve Kester started on the pole of the 25-lap DIRTcar UMP Late Model feature event. Kester would lead the first lap, but Devin Shiels would take command for good on lap two and pull away. Colin Shipley worked his way up to second and but had to work through lapped traffic. John Miller on lap 10 would bring out the caution to tighten the field back up for a restart that was halted just after the return to green flag racing for a big pile up going in to turn one. It would be the first of many caution flags that plagued the remainder of the race. Shipley tried the inside and outside lanes on the restarts but was unable to challenge Shiels for the lead.  Shipley had car trouble and fell off the pace turning second over to Jake Rendel. Rendel also was unable to mount a serious challenge on Shiels, who went on to the easy win with Rendel settling for 2nd, Dusty Moore 3rd, and Canadian racer Gregg Haskell 4th.

Weston, Michigan’s Ryan Davis started on the pole of the Sportsman feature and drove to his second consecutive feature win of the year. Point leader Jesse Jones padded his point lead a bit more with a second-place finish followed by Chris Williams and Dylan Jessan. The Dominator Super Stock A Main won by point leader Jake Rendel, Scott Hammer 2nd, Jeff Foks Jr 3rd and Jarrett Rendel 4th. Holgate Ohio’s Ryan Okuley continued his dominance in the Sport Compact class earning his third consecutive and fifth overall feature win of the season. Rounding out the top 4, Detroit’s James Stamper 2nd, Ken Wells 3rd, and Gavin Stambaugh 4th.
