Zone Chair Susie Hudson visited the New Haven Lions club on February 26th. She passed out service chevrons to three Lions. Lion Elmer Matthews, 40 years of service (seated) and Lion Dennis Stoll (left) and Bob Hudson (right), 20 years of service.
On December 7th, New Haven Lions Bob and Susie Hudson went on the WOWO broadcast at the junior achievement building and presented a check for $250.00 to John Zimney from WOWO for their penny pitch project.

At our February 13, 2023 meeting at Coney Dog Cafe in New Haven, Past District Governor Don Cooper presented a Melvin Jones Award to New haven Lion, Bill Hart. Bill has been a member for 45 years and has served the club well during his years of service.
Don Cooper from New Haven Lions Club presents a check for $150.00 to Krista Layman, director and co-founder of Kate’s Karts. Kate’s Karts provides books for hospitalized children in our local hospitals.
At the New Haven Lions Club’s December 12th Christmas party, PDG don Cooper presented a Melvin Jones Award to Lion Pres. Dennis Stoll. This is the highest award a Lion can be awarded and Lion Pres. Dennis was praised for his years of service to the New Haven Lions Club.
This year, Penny PITCH is giving the proceeds to Honor Flight, to send Veterans to Washington, DC to see the Veterans Wall and other sights along with a nice lunch. Presenting a check for $250.00 to WOWO Program Directors Mike Ragozino and Kayla Blakeslee are New Haven Lions, Bob and Susie Hudson.
New Haven Lions Club set up at Harvester Homecoming on August 5th & 6th and sold hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and chips!! New Haven Lions Club was able to raise a little over a $1000.00 which will benefit the New Haven community and surrounding area.
New Haven Lion Bill Hart presented $750 scholarships to Mizba Ahmad and Yu Yu Ya Yan Naung. Lion Pres. PDG Don Cooper presents a check for $200 to Supt. Mike Clendenen, to help pay for resetting a monument in Schnelker Park back on it’s pedestal.
