AUGLAIZE TOWNSHIP – Schooley’s Diner has recently opened near the Five Span area in the northeast corner of Paulding County.  Located at 19492 State Route 637, the new diner is owned and operated by local residents Sky Schooley and her father James Schooley.

Having completed the Culinary Arts program at Vantage Career Center, Schooley has always had a dream of owning and operating her own restaurant.  “I’ve always loved cooking.  When the former Cabbage Patch building became available I knew I had to jump on the opportunity,” commented Schooley.

Schooley has previous experience cooking in the area.  She has been working at the Defiance Moose Lodge where she prepared homemade daily lunch specials and organized and maintained their kitchen.

Schooley’s Diner is open for your dining pleasure Sunday through Thursday 7am-8pm.  They are open on Friday and Saturday 7am-9pm.  You can call to reach them at 419-393-2200; email them at schooleysdiner@yahoo.com or follow them on Facebook.
