Pollard Auto Care Opens in Paulding: New Business Brings Decades of Automotive Experience to the Community

A new auto repair shop with deep local roots and decades of experience is now open in the heart of Paulding. Pollard Auto Care, located at 221 W. Perry Street, officially opened its doors on April 7th and is ready to serve drivers from Paulding and surrounding areas.

The business is a joint venture between brothers, Dan and Joe Pollard, with a shared passion for all things automotive. Owner, Joe Pollard developed an early interest in mechanics during his teenage years at Vantage Career Center. His career began with hands-on experience as an auto mechanic and continued while working at NAPA Auto Parts in Paulding, where he worked under Tony Burkley. There, he managed customer service operations by day and repaired vehicles by night, building a trusted reputation in the community for over 20 years.

“My brother Dan and I found ourselves at a point where we knew it was time to take the leap,” said Pollard. “With our combined backgrounds in management and mechanics, opening Pollard Auto Care just made sense. It’s more than a business—it’s a lifelong passion and a way to give back to the community that’s supported us.”
