PEACE

During Advent, the theme of peace is often emphasized as a key aspect of the season. This time of preparation for Christmas encourages reflection on the peace that comes from faith and hope. Many people find solace in the anticipation of Christ’s birth, which symbolizes the promise of peace in their lives and in the world.
The Advent season invites us to reflect on how we can foster peace in our own hearts and in our communities. It’s a time to engage in acts of kindness, to resolve conflicts, and to seek reconciliation. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He gives it generously to all who ask without finding fault.
As we move through this season, we are reminded to not only seek peace for ourselves but also to be instruments of peace for others, embodying the message of love and goodwill that is central to the Christmas story. Colossians 3:15 (NIV): “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” I’m so thankful today that I have peace. Peace be with you, and may God’s peace dwell deeply in your hearts.
Peace and Love,
