The Northwest Electrical Cooperative “Round Up” program has donated $1500 towards the Hicksville Park Splash Pad project. Participating NWEC members “ round up” their monthly bill to the nearest dollar each month. Those donations are then donated to approved grant requests in the NWEC service area.

The 4th graders at Oakwood Elementary became entrepreneurs. They took out a loan to open a bracelet company. They designed, manufactured, marketed, and sold their product: bracelets. Of the 7 companies, 6 of them made a profit. Nice Job!
