Nominations Now Being Accepted for Antwerp’s Gem of the Year 2025

A Gem is a person that is held in high esteem by their peers and community at large. This could be someone in leadership who is adept at leading and delegating, but a Gem is also someone who works behind the scenes so as not to call attention to their service of others. Most Gems go unnoticed by their community because their service is not for others to see, but their service is done merely as a sense of duty to their friends, family and neighbors.

Antwerp Chamber of Commerce endeavors to find a true Gem for 2025. Who do you know that is a civic-minded person who has humbly made or is making the Antwerp community a better place? You know… a real “GEM?”

Nominations are now being accepted for this prestigious award that will be awarded at Antwerp Days, on June 7th following the parade. Criteria for a nomination include: 

• Lives in the Antwerp School District

• Contributed to the Quality of Life to the Antwerp community – either in the limelight or “under the hat”

• Has not previously received a “Gem” award
