Museum Speakers Bring ‘Zombie History’ Preview to Kiwanis Club

The Kiwanis Club recently welcomed Kim Sutton and Melinda Krick from the Paulding County History Museum for an engaging and informative program. The presenters were invited by Kiwanis member Bob West.

Sutton and Krick provided a preview of their full presentation, Zombie History, a program that explores whether stories passed down from generation to generation are rooted in fact or folklore. During their presentation, they examined several well-known local tales, including stories surrounding the county seat’s location, local Native American history, and the legend of Coffin Road. Attendees learned the documented history behind these longstanding community narratives.

The complete Zombie History program will be presented at the Paulding County History Museum’s annual meeting. The meeting date has not yet been determined, as the museum is currently completing renovation projects before hosting the event.
