Local Runner Wins Crystal Springs Trail Run

J. Ryan Hartwig competed in the Crystal Springs Trail run 35K on Sunday, August 31, 2025. This competitive race was held in Huddart Park, Woodside, California. 35K is equal to 21.7 miles.

Ryan finished 1st in his age group (M40-49) and 2nd overall.

Ryan retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in May 2025 after serving for over 22 years. He graduated from Wayne Trace High School and is presently residing in Paulding County.
