Local Food Pantries Receive Generous Support from Keith Hubbard Family Fund

Pictured left to right are Steve Hubbard, representing the Hubbard family; Sue McKibben, Zion’s Lutheran Church food pantry coordinator; Shawne Russel, St. Mary Catholic Church food pantry manager; and Marie Ferree, St. Paul’s UMC Food Pantry director, alongside her granddaughter Sarah Wilfong.

Three area food pantries recently received a boost thanks to the generosity of the Keith Hubbard Family Fund, which awarded $1,000 grants to each organization. The fund, operating under a local charitable umbrella, continues the legacy of Keith Hubbard, a well-known advocate for helping those in need.

Recipients of the grants include Zion’s Lutheran Church Food Pantry, St. Mary Catholic Church Food Pantry, and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Food Pantry. The contributions will support the pantries’ ongoing efforts to provide food and resources to families in the community.

The community extends its gratitude to the Hubbard family for continuing Keith Hubbard’s enduring mission of compassion and service.
