Lady Archers Fall to Miller City in Home Opener

The Antwerp Lady Archers opened their volleyball season at home last Tuesday night, August 19th, but came up short against a talented Miller City squad. The Wildcats claimed both the junior varsity and varsity contests in straight sets.

In the JV match, Antwerp battled but dropped two sets by scores of 9-25 and 14-25.

The varsity contest followed a similar script, as Miller City controlled the first two sets, 25-9 and 25-9. Antwerp showed resilience in the third, pushing the Wildcats before falling 25-17 to close out the match.
