IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO START OVER

Do you know that God is a God of second chances? God never gets tired of forgiving us. He specializes in mercy. For this reason, He placed His one and only son Jesus Christ, in the Mercy Seat, to sacrificially dispense mercy upon all who would confess and repent, or those He chose for His divine purpose.
1 John 1:9 (NIV) states: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
This verse emphasizes the importance of confessing our sins and the assurance of God’s forgiveness.
Romans 9:18 (NIV): “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.”
Please don’t allow your mistakes to defeat you. We all make mistakes and will continue to do so, as long as we live. It is a part of life. You are not perfect. You will never be perfect. So, stop trying. It’s only a waste of precious time and energy that could be used thanking God. It’s the devil who is always pointing out your mistakes. The devil is the great accuser of the brethren.
The devil’s role is to bring accusations against the believers constantly, night and day, attempting to separate them from God’s grace. Remember, nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:31-39
These are some of the causes of self-defeat;
1. When we don’t make Godly plans… Proverbs 27:12 (NIV): “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” This verse highlights the importance of wisdom and awareness of potential dangers in life, encouraging us to take precautionary measures.
2. When we don’t listen to God…. Proverbs 14:12 (NIV) states, “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.” This verse serves as a reminder to carefully consider our choices and the potential outcomes they may bring.
3. When we don’t follow His directions…. Proverbs 16:9 (NIV): “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
4. Not accepting Responsibility for failures caused by your sin…. Proverbs 28:13 (NIV) states, “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” This verse emphasizes the importance of honesty and repentance.
5. When we allow self-pity to consume us… Exodus 16:2-3 (NIV):
6. 2 In the desert, the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron.
7. 3 The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by the Lord’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”
8. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV): “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
9. Let today be the day of your salvation, let today be a new day for you. It’s never too late to start over. Let Jesus in your heart today.
10. Please repeat after me: Jesus, I am a sinner.
11. I believe you are the son of God
12. I believe you died on the cross for my sins
13. I believe you have forgiven me for all my sins
14. I believe you rose from the dead and sit at the right hand of God
15. I invite you into my heart. Today, you are my Lord and Savior
16. Thank you, Lord, for giving me a new start. In Jesus’ name, Amen. If you just said this confession, you are saved. It’s as simple as that. Today is your Day for a new Start!
17. God bless you. Call me if you need further guidance. (419)796-8718
