Ignite Academy Awarded $10,000 Grant from Defiance Area Foundation

Ignite Academy has been awarded a $10,000 grant through the Defiance Area Foundation’s fall 2025 grant cycle. The funding will support upgrades to equipment at the academy’s new temporary location, including improvements to tools, an automotive lift, air compressors, and other essential training resources.

The grant was made possible through contributions from the Schultz Leadership Fund—one of the many funds operating under the Defiance Area Foundation umbrella—as well as the Foundation’s Community Fund.

The Defiance Area Foundation continues to support local programs and initiatives that strengthen the community through education, leadership, and service.
