Hicksville Community Fund taps High School Graphics Class to create logo

June 1, 2018 News Submissions
Pictured receiving selection awards are students Calic Banks, Sari Contreas, Samantha Richter along with teacher Mr. Joey Stevenson. Presenting the awards and there to thank the entire class are trustees Sheryl Vetter, Lisa Slattery, Jim Schmidt and Karen Schmidt.

The trustees of HCF asked Mr . Stevenson’s graphics design class to create a logo and slogan for the HCF (Hicksville Community Fund).  On Tuesday 5/22 a pizza luncheon was provided to the entire class to announce the selection. In the end, work from three different students was selected to be combined into a final logo and slogan to be used by the HCF in future marketing efforts.   The Hicksville Community Fund trustees plan to follow up with an unveiling of the final logo & slogan in a future news release. The Trusteez ask that everyone to  consider the Hicksville Community Fund in your annual charitable giving as well as your estate planning.
