ANTWERP — The atmosphere was festive Friday night as Antwerp celebrated Homecoming, but the mood quickly turned somber as the visiting Edgerton Bulldogs handed the Archers a tough 47–14 loss.

Fresh off a dominant 44–0 win over Hilltop earlier in the week, Antwerp entered the night with high hopes of building momentum. However, Edgerton—undefeated at 4–0—had other plans. The Bulldogs took control early and never let up, keeping the Archers off balance on both sides of the ball.

Antwerp struggled to find any offensive rhythm, and the defense couldn’t contain Edgerton’s relentless attack. The loss marked the Archers’ fifth straight home defeat dating back to last season and dropped their overall record to 1–3.

Now deep into the schedule and with conference play heating up, Antwerp will aim to regroup and get back on track in the weeks ahead.
