Deloris M. (Reinhart) Whirrett

PAULDING, OH:

Deloris M. (Reinhart) Whirrett passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Vancrest of Payne. 

She was born to Martin and Mae (Kauser) Reinhart on May 24, 1930. On July 28, 1951, she married Alan R. Whirrett and to this union, a son, Donald, was born. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son, and sister, Louise L. Reinhart. 

She was secretary to A.C. Bell, county superintendent of schools for several years and was employed for several more years as secretary of Paulding Exempted Village Middle School. Following that was part owner in family business, Don’s Dairy, New Hampshire, OH. After retiring from all, she enjoyed the family farm and pond, gardening and her family cats. 

She was a member of Human Services Board; VFW Auxillary, Paulding Historical Society, and Dragonfly Club.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Paulding St. Joseph Catholic Church (Divine Mercy Catholic Parish – Paulding) at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 with Father Austin Ammanniti officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding Township, OH.

There will be no visitation. She has requested friends gather and celebrate her life with things they remember about her. 

To honor Deloris’ wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Deloris’ memory to Friends of Felines, Defiance, OH.
