Defiance Area Foundation Supports Jazz Festival with $1,000 Grant

The Defiance Area Foundation (DAF) recently awarded a $1,000 grant to the Defiance Development and Visitors Bureau in support of the 12th Annual Jazz Festival, taking place on July 12, 2025. The funding was made possible through the Foundation’s Community Fund and Arts and Theater Fund. This beloved cultural event honors Defiance-born jazz pioneers Milt Buckner and “Wild Bill” Davidson and continues to bring music and history to life for residents and visitors alike. The Jazz Festival remains a treasured tradition in the community—celebrating a uniquely American art form while educating audiences of all ages.
