Council Unlocks $25,000 Challenge Grant for Cooper Lodge Project

The Black Swamp Area Council has successfully completed a matching campaign tied to a $25,000 challenge grant from the Defiance County Capital Projects Fund, a fund under the Defiance Area Foundation umbrella. The Council raised $25,000 to unlock the grant, with all funds helping to complete the remaining financing needed for the Cooper Lodge and Keith Hubbard Dining Hall. The grant was presented by DAF Board President Dan Michel to Scout Executive Marc Kogan.
