Confidence in Christ

Confidence in Christ grows by building a trusting relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. This involves relying on God’s power, love, and promises, as revealed in His Word, and through prayer. For many believers, this confidence is developed through personal transformative experiences that strengthen their faith. It’s important to remember where Christ has taken you from and to understand that this change is not of your own effort, but a power much greater than yourself. The complexities and challenges of life often create the perfect opportunities for God’s supernatural power to appear in your life, if you are willing to see it.

Matthew 13:11-17 states;

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have, will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes,    hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

Ask God to open your eyes that you may see all that He has laid out before you, that you may give Him the Glory. Let those who have eyes see.

We are often blinded and crippled by our own fallacies.

Believing that God’s spoken promises are true and will be fulfilled is the epitome of God’s word.

We must have faith in Salvation. As believers, we must have confidence that through Christ’s sacrifice, we are forgiven and given eternal life.

We must trust in His Guidance. We find comfort in knowing that Christ provides direction and wisdom in times of uncertainty or decision-making.

Confidence in Christ often translates into resilience during difficult times, as believers rely on faith to overcome challenges.

Psalm 20:7 (NIV) states: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” This verse emphasizes the importance of placing our faith in God rather than relying on earthly power or resources.

Our focus is on the relationship with Christ, not religion.

Overall, “Confidence in Christ” signifies a strong faith that profoundly impacts our outlook on life, breaking the power of negative thinking and its negative consequences. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

 To God be the Glory! Forever and ever Amen!
