Christmas for Kids Receives $1,000 Grant from Defiance Area Foundation

Defiance’s Christmas for Kids program has received a boost to kick off the holiday season. The joint fundraising effort, sponsored by the Herman Hesselschwardt Detachment #758 and radio station Mix 98.1, was recently awarded a $1,000 grant from the Keith Hubbard Family Fund, a charitable fund operating under the umbrella of the Defiance Area Foundation .

This support helps ensure that the Christmas for Kids program continues its mission of bringing holiday cheer to families in need throughout the community.
